Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using this website or engaging our services. By accessing this Site, submitting an enquiry, downloading a resource, or booking a Discovery Call, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About Us

This Site is operated by Think Global with David Thomas (“Think Global,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the speaking and keynote practice of David Thomas. The Site exists to provide information about David Thomas’s keynotes, board briefings, and workshops, and to allow you to enquire about and book those services.

2. Definitions

  • “Services” means the speaking engagements offered through this Site, including keynotes, board briefings, and workshops.
  • “Client,” “you,” or “your” means the individual or organisation enquiring about, booking, or engaging the Services.
  • “Discovery Call” means the initial consultation booked via the Site to discuss a potential engagement.
  • “Booking” means a confirmed engagement, formalised through a separate written agreement (see Section 4).

3. Use of the Site

You may use this Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable local, national, or international law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems.
  • Introduce malicious code, or otherwise interfere with the Site’s operation.
  • Use any content from the Site for commercial purposes without our written permission (see Section 7).

We reserve the right to restrict or withdraw access to the Site at any time without notice.

4. Enquiries, Discovery Calls & Bookings

Enquiries and Discovery Calls are not bookings. Submitting an enquiry form or booking a Discovery Call does not create a binding engagement. It begins a conversation.

A Booking is confirmed only when:

  1. Both parties have agreed the scope, date, format, and fee in writing; and
  2. A separate engagement agreement or confirmation has been signed and/or paid.

The terms of any specific engagement (including fees, travel, deliverables, cancellation terms, and scheduling) are governed by that separate written agreement. Where that agreement and these Terms conflict, the engagement agreement prevails for that booking.

Availability. Dates shown as available are indicative and are confirmed only on booking.

5. Fees & Payment

  • Speaking fees depend on format, audience, location, and travel, and are confirmed in writing before any Booking.
  • Unless stated otherwise in the engagement agreement, fees are exclusive of travel, accommodation, and applicable taxes.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms are set out in each individual engagement agreement, as they vary by booking, timing, and travel commitments.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, video, downloadable resources (such as the Three Cups of Tea and The Nine Bend Bridge eBooks), frameworks, and keynote materials, is the property of Think Global with David Thomas or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

  • The named frameworks, including The North-South Corridor, Three Cups of Tea, The Nine Bend Bridge, and WEYO, together with their associated content and terminology, are the intellectual property of David Thomas.
  • You may download and use resources we provide (such as eBooks and the speaker kit) for your own internal, informational use in connection with considering or making a booking.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, adapt, or commercially exploit any Site content or framework without our prior written permission.
  • Recording, filming, or reproducing a live engagement is permitted only where agreed in writing in the engagement agreement.

8. Downloadable Resources & Communications

When you download a resource (such as an eBook) or subscribe, you consent to receive it by email and to occasional related communications. You may unsubscribe at any time. Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Bookings (Speaker Bureaus)

David is also represented by third-party speaker bureaus, including Chartwell Speakers, London Speaker Bureau, Speakers Associates, and Ovations. Where you choose to book through a bureau, that booking is subject to the bureau’s own terms and contract in addition to, or in place of, the engagement agreement, as applicable. We are not responsible for the terms or conduct of third-party bureaus.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites (such as speaker bureaus or media coverage). We provide these links for convenience and do not endorse or accept responsibility for the content, products, or practices of those sites. Accessing them is at your own risk.
